8.3 Use of Payment Service Providers (Payment Services)
- Apple Pay
If you choose the "Apple Pay" payment method from Apple Distribution International (Apple), Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland, payment will be processed via the "Apple Pay" function of your end device operated with iOS, watchOS, or macOS by charging a payment card stored with "Apple Pay". Apple Pay uses security features integrated into your device's hardware and software to protect your transactions. To authorise a payment, you must therefore enter a code previously defined by you and verify it using the "Face ID" or "Touch ID" function of your end device.
For the purpose of payment processing, the information you provide during the ordering process, together with information about your order, is transmitted to Apple in encrypted form. Apple then encrypts this data again with a developer-specific key before the data is transmitted to the payment service provider of the payment card stored in Apple Pay for the purpose of carrying out the payment. The encryption ensures that only the website through which the purchase was made can access the payment data. After the payment has been made, Apple sends your device account number and a transaction-specific dynamic security code to the originating website to confirm the success of the payment.
If personal data is processed in the described transmissions, processing is carried out exclusively for the purpose of payment processing in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Apple stores anonymised transaction data, including the approximate purchase amount, the approximate date and time, and whether the transaction was successfully completed. Anonymisation completely excludes any personal reference. Apple uses the anonymised data to improve "Apple Pay" and other Apple products and services.
If you use Apple Pay on iPhone or Apple Watch to complete a purchase that you made via Safari on Mac, the Mac and the authorisation device communicate over an encrypted channel on Apple servers. Apple does not process or store any of this information in a format that can identify you personally. You can disable the ability to use Apple Pay on your Mac in your iPhone settings. Go to "Wallet & Apple Pay" and disable "Allow Payments on Mac".
Further information on data protection with Apple Pay can be found at the following internet address: https://support.apple.com/de-de/HT203027
- Google Pay
If you choose the "Google Pay" payment method from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"), payment will be processed via the "Google Pay" application on your mobile device operated with at least Android 4.4 ("KitKat") and equipped with an NFC function by charging a payment card stored with Google Pay or a payment system verified there (e.g. PayPal). To authorise a payment via Google Pay of more than 25,- €, your mobile device must first be unlocked using the verification method set up in each case (such as facial recognition, password, fingerprint, or pattern).
For the purpose of payment processing, the information you provide during the ordering process, together with information about your order, is transmitted to Google. Google then transmits your payment information stored in Google Pay to the originating website in the form of a uniquely assigned transaction number, which is used to verify that a payment has been made. This transaction number contains no information about the real payment data of your payment method stored in Google Pay, but is created and transmitted as a one-time valid numerical token. For all transactions via Google Pay, Google acts solely as an intermediary for processing the payment. The transaction is carried out exclusively in the relationship between the user and the originating website by charging the payment method stored in Google Pay.
If personal data is processed in the described transmissions, processing is carried out exclusively for the purpose of payment processing in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Google reserves the right to collect, store, and analyse certain transaction-specific information for every transaction made via Google Pay. This includes the date, time, and amount of the transaction, merchant location and description, a description of the purchased goods or services provided by the merchant, photos you attached to the transaction, the name and email address of the seller and buyer or sender and recipient, the payment method used, your description of the reason for the transaction, and, where applicable, the offer associated with the transaction.
According to Google, this processing is carried out exclusively in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of the legitimate interest in proper accounting, verification of transaction data, and optimisation and maintenance of the Google Pay service.
Google also reserves the right to combine the processed transaction data with other information collected and stored by Google when using other Google services.
The terms of use for Google Pay can be found here:

If you select a payment method from the provider for which you pay in advance, your payment data provided during the ordering process (including name, address, bank and payment card information, currency, and transaction number) as well as information about the content of your order will be passed on to the provider in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. In this case, your data is passed on exclusively for the purpose of payment processing with the provider and only insofar as it is necessary for this purpose.
If you select a payment method for which we pay in advance, during the ordering process you will also be asked to provide certain personal data (first and last name, street, house number, postcode, city, date of birth, email address, telephone number, and, if applicable, data on an alternative payment method).
In order to safeguard our legitimate interest in determining your ability to pay in such cases, this data is forwarded by us to the provider for the purpose of a credit check in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Based on the personal data you provide and further data (such as shopping basket, invoice amount, order history, payment experience), the provider checks whether the payment option you selected can be granted with regard to payment and/or default risks.
The credit report may contain probability values (so-called score values). If score values are included in the result of the credit report, they are based on a scientifically recognised mathematical-statistical procedure. Address data is included in the calculation of the score values, among other things, but not exclusively.
You may object to this processing of your data at any time by sending a message to us or to the provider. However, the provider may still be entitled to process your personal data if this is necessary for contractual payment processing.
- Shopify Payments
One or more online payment methods from the following provider are available on this website: Shopify International Limited, Victoria Buildings, 1-2 Haddington Road, Dublin 4, D04 XN32, Ireland

In this case, your data is passed on exclusively for the purpose of payment processing with the provider and only insofar as it is necessary for this purpose.
8.4 Sanctions List Screening
As part of initiating business relationships and processing orders, we reserve the right to compare the personal data provided to us by you with data from sanctions lists of the European Union and/or its individual member states and to decide, based on the results of this comparison, on the establishment of the business relationship or on the execution of the order.
This data processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR due to our legal obligation to check and ensure that we do not enter into business relationships with sanctioned natural or legal persons and thus prevent the provision of resources to such persons.

For the use of Universal Event Tracking, a tag is stored on every page of our website that interacts with the conversion cookie set by Microsoft. This interaction makes user behaviour on our website traceable and sends the information collected in this way to Microsoft. The purpose of this is that certain predefined goals such as purchases or leads can be statistically recorded and evaluated in order to make the alignment and content of our offers more interest-based. The tags are never used for the personal identification of users.
All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading information on the end device used, is carried out only if you have given us your express consent for this in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Without this consent, retargeting technology will not be used during your visit to the website.
You may revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your revocation, please deactivate this service in the "cookie consent tool" provided on the website.

If personal data is also processed in this context, this is carried out in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in the optimal marketing of our offer and the appealing design of our online presence.
In the case of an online order placed with us, further processing may take place.

The collection, storage, and analysis are carried out in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of Google's legitimate interest in displaying personalised advertising, market research, and/or the needs-based design of Google websites. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact Google to exercise this right. If you do not agree with the future transfer of your data to Google in the context of using Google Maps, it is also possible to completely deactivate the Google Maps web service by disabling JavaScript in your browser.
